Both llevar and traer involve moving something, but they depend on direction:
Llevar → Used when taking something away from the speaker’s location.
✅ Voy a llevar el libro a la biblioteca. (I’m going to take the book to the library.)
✅ ¿Puedes llevar este regalo a Juan? (Can you take this gift to Juan?)
Traer → Used when bringing something toward the speaker’s location.
✅ ¿Me puedes traer un café? (Can you bring me a coffee?)
✅ Ella trajo su computadora a la reunión. (She brought her computer to the meeting.)
Think: Llevar = take away | Traer = bring here!
